Hi! I’m Kate Topham. I’m a trained archivist and librarian working at the intersection of digital scholarship and collections work. As Digital Scholarship Specialist at University of Michigan, I steward a number of initiatives that combine digital scholarship and social justice work.

I also consult on digital projects that involve metadata, archives, digital preservation, linked open data, and text analysis.

I previously worked as the Digital Humanities Archivist at Michigan State University, where I served as the Digital Archivist for the American Religious Sounds Project, data wrangled for the Graphic Possibilities Research Workshop, and co-ran the Text Analysis Learning Group and DSL Project Incubator.
